Overview: 

Yamaha BLU CRU Basic Off-Road Training programs are the ultimate gateway to developing skills, building confidence, and experiencing the thrill of the ride under the supervision of passionate Yamaha Coaches. Join our Yamaha community and let us help take the guess work out of how to get started in off-road riding.

Yamaha TT-R bikes and limited loaner gear included! This course is free of charge but does require pre-registration and a fully refundable deposit to hold your spot -  located at the bottom of the page.

Please Read:

This is NOT a motocross class. This is solely dedicated to new riders and/or those who have very limited experience with the basic riding fundamentals. All riders must be able to balance and ride a bicycle.

Riders under the age of 18 years old must have a parent/guardian with them to sign their liability waiver forms and remain on-site during the course.

There is no fee for this course, but a fully refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Please ensure that you can attend the date of your chosen course.

Class availability is first-come, first-served. You are not confirmed for the course until you receive an email confirmation from Yamaha BLU CRU.

Dirt Discovery – Learn to Ride Basic Offroad Training

Dirt Discovery is a 4hr, learn-to-ride course, appropriate for adults, kids, teens, and women! Yamaha coaches create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where new and prospective riders can learn essential skills, connect with others who share the same interests and experience the joy of safely riding Yamaha motorcycles in a controlled environment. It's time to stop waiting and start riding!

  • Responsible riding / Basic bike maintenance / Importance of safety gear
  • Proper body positioning
  • Shifting / Standing / Turning techniques
  • Building confidence & character
  • Small obstacles / Hill riding techniques
  • HAVING FUN AND CREATING LIFELONG MEMORIES AND MORE!!

  • Yamaha’s premier off-road Lineup:   TT-R 50E, TT-R110E, TTR-125LE, TTR-230
  • Limited loaner gear (helmets, goggles, gloves). Riders are encouraged to bring any safety gear they might already have
  • Seating / shaded tent areas /drinks
  • 4 hrs. of instruction
  • Yamaha swag, surprise goodies, snack and drinks
  • Memories to last a lifetime!

  • Over-the-ankle boots with durable socks (hiking style boots)
  • Durable, long-sleeved shirt and full-length pants. (no leggings)
  • DOT/ Snell approved helmet *Loaners available
  • Knee Pads (not mandatory)

  • Full fingered gloves *Loaners available
  • Well rested mind and body with an appetite for adventure and comradery

It's time to stop waiting and start riding!
